Laxmi Eye Centre
was established in 1995 in Kullu with the aim of providing modern eye care to the residents of the valley. It was the first centre to bring computerised eye check-up and microsurgical facilities here.

Meet Dr Ravi Matani
Dr Ravi Matani, who runs the centre, has more than 3 decades of experience in Ophthalmology.
He completed his Postgraduate Studies from Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai followed by A Fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. His academic achievements include
- Gold Medal - D.O.M.S Gold Medal - F.C.P.S.
- Gold Medal - F.C.P.S. Gold Medal - Best Fellow, Sankara Nethralaya
- Gold Medal - Best Fellow, Sankara Nethralaya
He worked for some years as Deputy Director, Bombay City Eye institute before moving to Kullu.
